So leaving Southern California was so fun. Don't get me wrong, I love San Diego and all, but it was time for Rose and I to hit to road. I picked her up at her luxury apartment and got a henna tattoo before we left LA. A very talented henna artist from Seattle offered to do a Maori design. I was just going to ask her to do one quadrant of my face, but she ended up doing my whole face. Needless to say, I felt completely like a freak but where else would you see this other than in LA, right? So for the rest of the day, everyone looked at me a little funny. Even those not really liking how slow I was driving gave me a second look....Oh well, it was fun.
